This didn’t work because the silicone skin was too small for the screen protector. The screen protector kept popping out and I was baffled that it didn’t fit. I kept it though because I liked the clear screen protector (the iPod Touch case I was using had a cloudy one that bugged me). It also came with a nice cleaning cloth. In addition, it was inexpensive enough that I didn’t feel I had lost anything.

I ordered this case to go with the Ipod Touch 3rd Generation and have no information on any of the other ones.

It does have a magnetic clasp if you are wary of them, however I haven’t had any issues with my Ipod that might have arose from that.

The acrylic snap in enclosure secures the Ipod quite well to the leather casing. This was the main reason that I bought this case. It does not obscure any of the functionality of the Ipod. There is a cutout in the acrylic for the volume controls, top button, connector port, and headphone jack. (Note that this case will not work for Iphones because there is no hole for the camera.)

In addition, if you are a minimalist, the 2 pocket wallet is large enough for, snugly, 4 or 5 cards, after the leather expands a little bit. I carry around a credit card, one or two bills folded into quarters, drivers license, a RFID card and another ID, though this would probably be more ideal minus the thick RFID card. Prior to having the leather expand, the pockets are too tight to use for anything, so I would stuff a few cards into it overnight.

The thickness and dimensions of the entire case are still able to fit into my flexpod car mount system with the wallet part folded to the back. (About 3 times the thickness of the ipod in total.)

I like the book case design, and while I know that you don’t need a case for the Ipod, I’ve found this one quite stylish and effective.

In addition, they provide some sort of screen protector with some obscure installation instructions. I’m currently using it since it keeps off more fingerprints than the normal glass, but it’s not really a selling point. There is no difference in the sensitivity of the Ipod touch, so you might as well try it if you don’t already have a screen protector.

For information though: the plastic sheet they provide is actually 3 pieces of plastic, with the piece that you want to use sandwiched between them. Remove the sheet marked by tab 1, and the face that it exposes should be slightly sticky. Align and lay that down onto your ipod, and do it right the first time, I’m not sure how well it works if you try to pick it up a few times. Then pull tab 2, and that will take off the back cover sheet and leave behind the plastic screen protector you would want to use.

All in all, this replaced my wallet (read: slimmy style wallet, which some people don’t consider to be a wallet.) and my old ipod, and turned it into a single object to carry around, so I’m quite happy.

Bought for my Ipod Touch 3G. Fits perfectly, easy-on/easy-off (have to take it off to fit in a dock). Slides into my holster easily – no catching like a silicone sleeve does. Leaves the full screen and all buttons open for easy access, and you can leave it on if using a usb data cable as that port is left open as well. A nice touch is the flip-out stand on the back, to leave the Ipod in an upgright (horizonal-mode) position for easy viewing. I really like this case!

This ipod touch case looks great. I purchased two of these a month ago, green for myself and a red one for a friend. The colors are vibrant and it fits well. Several coworkers have complemented me on the case. The little tab that serves to prop up the ipod seems a bit flimsy but has held up so far. The case was very good. It was stylish as it was on the picture, perfect. The only bad thing was that the screen protecter that came is not the one that you stick on. Its supposed to stay under the edges of the case. I give it a 4 because the screen protector came all scratched up.

The product was just okay. It came in the case and screen protector, but the screen protector came in with all these marks and deep scratches in it making it unusable. So I didn’t use it. Therefore, the case was a bit slippery. Overall, not that satisified.

Mivizu hard candy rubber skin case or iPod Touch – George C. Olguin –
I am very happy with the Mivizu case. It is made of hard plastic with a rubberized coating that, so far, is holding up very well. I have a couple of complaints. The first case I received arrived with broken and damaged tabs on the top part which fit into the bottom part of the case along the middle sides. These are rather weak. Be careful to inspect the case when you get it to make sure these little tabs are intact. The case slips on nicely however, there is about a millimeter of separation from the top part with the bottom. Hopefully Mivizu can correct it because it allows a bit of the iPod chrome to show through on each side, especially the front. After trying out the case, I wrapped my iPod with invisible shield (which I’ve used in other products). After it was ready, I reinstalled the Mivizu case and it fit very snug, which I liked. I needed to use a small file to make the rectangular whole on the back of the case a bit larger so that the tab would be able to click into it. Other than that, I like the feel of this case and the price is great. I would recommend it. Without the invisible shield, the Mivizu case is not as snug and there is a TINY bit of wiggle when using the iPod.

I was hoping that this would be a nice case for my 32gb 3g iTouch… it arrived yesterday, it is very loose the two parts don’t fit together at all… falls apart, thought that I needed to put on the VERY heavy “screen protector”… the protector was stratched up and is sooo thick that you can hardly see thru it… this case is a big disappointment. Don’t get it… get something else.
