To receive calls on your iPod Touch
In December last year, I was with my brother in San Antonio, Texas. He worked a lot in those days, and we have not seen since I came from Italy. I was on my own and I would call him every 30 minutes to see if he had finished the job and get me. To his surprise, when I saw him first time and told him: "Hey, if you're ready, just call me at this number … I will answer my iPod Touch!" Only if you're wondering: No, you do not a jailbroken> Ipod Touch, do it to! Anyway, you need to get an external microphone, so it works.
This was my scenario: I was in another country, and he had to keep in touch with one another. I did not have a cell phone, but I had the iPod Touch! Of course, I use the free WiFi connection to Austin's Capitol thank you. It was the perfect place to wait to call my brother! I had a fantastic time management.
